MARCH 2008: Australian distributor MAREOR participated in a Dealer demo in Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, on the East Australian coast. Mareor joined forces with the Australian
Runco distributor to bring a high-end demonstration of their joint
capabilities to the dealers. The theme was 'Hollywood At Home' - A Higher Quality Home Cinema
The demonstration focussed on CinemaScope projection using the Runco CineWide projector,
onto a Screen Research TheaterCurve, Scope screen, 100" wide. Mareor also demonstrated for
the first time in Australia, the Procella Audio P815. They were playing
in 2.0 stereo, mostly 96/24 material from DVD-A, for that real high
dynamic range, studio quality sound. We'd like to share with you some of the responses we received from the dealers:
- "Lovely Mid and High, best I have ever heard."
-
"Like sitting behind the mixing console when they are mixing the music - its that real!"
-
"The Procellas are sensational..."
-
"I had forgotten how good full range stereo can sound..."
-
"Wow! You can feel and hear all the bass, without it becoming overbearing. And you are not running a subwoofer?"
-
"The Procellas are in a different universe!"
-
"I have heard things I have never heard before. The Procellas are
incredibly revealing!"
